Kurt comes to Annex Wealth Management ® from Arizona where he resided for the past ten years. He started his career as an actuarial analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and later changed career paths to the financial services industry as a mutual fund analyst for the largest Raymond James Financial branch in the State. Although he spent a significant amount of time in Arizona, Kurt is a native of the Lake Country area where his parents still own the house on Lake Kesus where he grew up.

 

Kurt is a graduate of Arrowhead High School class of ‘92, and an alumnus of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota class of ‘96 with a BA in Mathematics and a minor in computer science.  Kurt has earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP^®) designation and has passed the FINRA General Securities Representative exam (Series 7).  He also carries Life, Health and Disability insurance licenses.

 

He believes in disciplined investment strategies where goals, time horizon and risk tolerance are clearly identified. Kurt’s mission is to have an open dialogue with his clients helping them to envision their financial goals, and then provide the planning and resources to ensure they obtain their pictured goals.

 

Kurt and his wife Jennifer have three children, Caden, Claire, and Isaac. He enjoys softball, golf, water activities, playing poker, and being outdoors. He is also very involved at his parish, Queen of Apostles, and was integral in starting the new dynamic youth ministry program “Lifeteen”.
